Internal building work, a new roof, some skylights and fit a new kitchen

Our next door neighbour had AJW build their extension and so we decided to have them complete some internal building work, a new roof, some skylights and fit a new kitchen. We are incredibly pleased with the result. Anthony (the boss) has gathered around him some very fine workers/craftsmen and we can’t be happier and, as much as the work is great, what strikes me is; the willingness to “go the extra mile” and it’s fair to say nothing is too much trouble. I have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and family.

Anthony and his team have just completed a bathroom renovation at our property and I couldn’t be more pleased. I have used AJW several times over the last few years and I have always had full say in the work and never had to worry about the quality of workmanship. Anthony is a perfectionist and he always checks his team’s work before signing the job off. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend AJW to anyone, in fact I have already done so several times.

A thoroughly professional builder, Anthony gave us good advice and the job progressed according to plan. His staff worked extremely hard, they were efficient and polite. We are delighted with the finished bathroom, and we’ve had positive comments from all the people who’ve seen it. We would recommend AJW Construction, without hesitation.

I would have no hesitation in using Anthony and his team for future building projects. They provide excellent value for money and are entirely professional in their approach. All of the team are courteous and turn up when they say they will. Our kitchen refurb, which included re wiring, removal of load bearing walls, re-siting of water / waste pipes, full kitchen install, re-plastering and re- decoration, was completed to a very high standard, to time and to budget. Anthony is honest and very transparent on cost. I would highly recommend his company.

I was dreading having to deal with builders when having the front of my Victorian terraced house re-rendered, but thankfully I chose AJW Construction (based on their reviews) and they were fantastic from start to finish. Anthony ALWAYS turned up when he said he would and always on time. AJW’s quote was not the cheapest we received, but it was certainly the most considered and Anthony had no problem itemising each element of the job (unlike some other builders we consulted). I therefore felt confident that the price quoted would be the price we paid and it was. Similarly, Anthony gave me a clear guide of how long the work would take (factoring in the weather) and the work was completed on time. The team who carried out the work were friendly and polite and cleaned up after themsleves each day. I was consulted on any aspect of the job that required a decision to be made and am extremely happy with the end result – the house looks completely transformed. I would have absolutely no problem recommending AJW Construction to anyone and will certainly be using them again for any future jobs.
